CLAUDIO CRICELLI has been president of the Italian Society of General Medicine & Primary Care since 1998 and of the Public Affairs Association since 2010. In 2017 he received the bronze medal of Merit for Public Health. He is the President of the Board of Directors of Dedalus Spa, international leader in the sector of medical softwares.
He started his professional career in 1975 as a general practitioner at ASL 10 Regione Toscana. Since 1982 he’s been writing scientific articles and articles about Professional Policy on Italian and international publications. He was Publication Manager of the periodical “Italian Society of General Medicine” and Project and Publication Manager at the research institute Health Search of Florence. Between 2011 and 2015 he was Program Director of the Master in General Medicine at the Biomedical Campus of Rome. Since 2016 he’s been teaching at the Postgraduate School of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at Università Cattolica of Rome.
In 1992 he became President of the European School of General Medicine and from 1999 to 2002 he was President of the European Union of General Practitioners. Actually he is Lead Director of Medical Consulting srl, where he was CEO from 2005 to 2015. From 2000 to 2015 he was sole administrator of Genomedics srl, company specialised in services and development of softwares for Healthcare.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1974 at the University of Florence and specialised in Clinical Hematology and Laboratory in 1978.
