GILBERTO TURATI is a Professor of Public Finance at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
He is currently a member of the executive board of the Italian Society of Public Economics (SIEP). He is part of the editorial staff of lavoce.info, of the editorial board of the Journal of Economic Policy and of the Journal of Public Finance and Public Choice. He is an external affiliate of the Health, Econometrics and Data Group of the Centre for Health Economics of the University of York. From May 2019, he has presided over the Independent Organization of Evaluation of the “Ordine Mauriziano” Healthcare Company of Turin.
For several years, he was Program Director of the Master in Economics and Health Policy of the Coripe Piemonte and of the University of Turin (where he was first researcher, then associate professor). He was a board member of European Public Choice Society (EPCS) for the 2012-2015 term and of Independent Organization of Evaluation of the “Ordine Mauriziano” Healthcare Company of Turin.
He earned a PhD in Finance at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a Master in Economics at the University of York, UK.
