NICOLA REDI, is Investment Director in Vertis SGR, managing Venture Capital operations. He is Italian representative in the High Level Group for Innovation Policy Management, a task force promoted by the European Council in charge of designing the new European innovation policies. He was also member of the Informal Advisory Board of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research.
Before joining Vertis he was Chief Investment & Technology Officer of TTVenture, the first Italian venture capital fund focused on technology transfer, running 23 investments and launching SeedLab, among the top Italian startup accelerator programs.
Before entering the venture capital industry, Nicola held global and EMEA responsibilities in research and new product development in Pirelli Tyres and Ideal Standard International.
He is also adjunct professor at the International MBA programs of MIB in Trieste and of the University of Pisa. Nicola holds a MSc in Aeronautic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, an MBA with gratest honors from Bocconi University and a PhD in Management from Aston Business School in Birmingham.
