STEFANO CAZZANIGA is a Partner and Director of the Health Care Practice at the Boston Consulting Group, based in Milan and leading the Payers and Providers sector in Italy, Greece, Turkey and Israel. He is a core member of BCG Global Health Care practice, working with the largest Hospitals and Medtech companies in Europe.

He is a healthcare specialist for BCG in Italy, also affiliated with the Insurance Practice. Amongst others, he’s been dealing with projects on: transparency of outcomes, quality performance management, post merger integration, lean hospital transformation and health reforms. Before joining BCG he served as the the COO and, later, as the General Manager at a university hospital center in the Milan area equipped with 750 beds and €350M.

He is a Medical Doctor with more than 20 years of experience in the medical field. He has been a researcher in pharmacoeconomics, a marketer for a Medical Devices Company and a public health Consultant. Stefano holds an MPA, earned with full grades and honor.
