Description of the event:

The Italian National Health Service reached many goals in the last decades. Still, there are many challenges to face in order to guarantee de facto the universality and the equality of the system as it is stated by the Constitution.

Action Institute wants to bring a long-term vision of the healthcare system. It should be able to intervene in a structural way on the areas of development, by means of fostering the resources of the system and removing the obstacles, amid growing demand for healthcare, rising costs, limited economic resources and growing integration at a European level.

The meeting follows a broad consultation and its goal is to foster a talk between policy makers, regulators, professionals, experts and patients, in order to achieve a broadly-shared project on the steps towards the implementation of the solution.
