In the aftermath of the European Parliament elections, which took place between the 23rd and the 26th of May, the European Union proceeded in choosing the leaders of its main institutions. The United Kingdom appointed a new head of government, in order to allow for Brexit negotiations to continue. Threatened sanctions on the part of the US and a growing Chinese geopolitical influence represent two key challenges Europe can’t avoid to take into consideration in the upcoming years.
Action Institute proposes an overview of the main analyzes and comments related to future scenarios. The special focuses on the renewal of the main institutional offices at the European Union level, while providing insights on the evolution of Brexit state of affairs and major geopolitical trends.
