InnovAction Life Sciences: Action Institute interview Nicola Redi

Nicola Redi graduated in Aeronautical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, then earned an MBA with honors at Bocconi University in Milan and a PhD in Management at Aston Business School in Birmingham. Since 2014 he has been the Investment Director of Vertis SGR managing Venture Capital operations. He was also member of the Informal Advisory Board of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research. Previously, he was Chief Investment & Technology Officer at TTVenture, the first Italian fund specialized in technology transfer, running 23 investments and launching SeedLab, a startup accelerator program among the top Italian ones.

Moreover, he is one of the experts participating to the Action Institute project. According to Redi: “it is much better to focus on a great entrepreneur with an ordinary idea, rather than an ordinary entrepreneur with a great idea.”.
