The Rome Investment Forum will take place in Rome on December 9th and 10th, two-days of conferences and roundtables about investments and growth in the European Union. The Forum at its 6th edition is organized by Federazione Banche Assicurazioni e Finanza (FeBAF) with the patronage of the European Commission and the European Parliament.
This sixth Rome Investment Forum will take place, like the first one, as the EU kicks off a new European legislative agenda and will discuss plans to boost economic and financial integration and a long-term vision of the European Union, Italy and international economic relations by promoting economic-financial integration and growth-oriented economic policies. The conference will address the European Reform Agenda, with special attention on growth and employment, long-term investment, Banking Union, Capital Markets Union, sustainable finance, infrastructure, SMEs and European investment plans.
Opening remarks will be made by Luigi Abete (Chairman of FeBAF), Paolo Gentiloni (EU Commissioner for Economy) and Giuseppe Conte (President of the Council of Ministers of Italy). Among the speakers Roberto Gualtieri (Italian Minister of Economy and Finance), Fabio Massimo Castaldo (Vice Presidente of the European Parliament), Maria Bianca Farina (President of Ania), Vincenzo Boccia (President of Confindustria) and Mario Nava (DG FISMA of the European Commission).
Carlotta de Franceschi, President of Action Institute, will take part in the event and on the second day will be among the speakers in the debate on fintech challenges for the finance and insurance sectors.
