At La 7, the economist Carlotta De Franceschi, ex banker di Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, today president of the think-tank Action Institute. Surprisingly, the economist who was also in the cabinet of economic advisors of Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, promotes the program of the center-right. In particular, on two points, the one of Giorgia Meloni («The cut of the golden pensions is right and dutiful in a country where there are Italians who rummage in the trash») and on the flat tax («This measure is being used all over the world. In the United States, Donald Trump has done it. If Europe gave the green light, I would be in favour»).
The center-right programme goes straight to the point.
De Franceschi, at Coffee Break speaks about all the election programs, with regard to the economic plan: «The Five Stars programme is very vague, the PD programme is 43 pages long, the centre-right one goes straight to the point and is very liberal. It made me smile instead that of Free and Equals, who just wants to dismantle the reforms made so far». In particular, the economist explains that the Five Stars programme is the peak of populism. I am surprised that Italian citizens do not feel the responsibility to vote for a well-trained and experienced ruling class».
